About

Hello, and welcome to Cut The Crap! My name is Zöe Pettit, and I am a recent Conservation Biology graduate trying to spread awareness, hope, and calls to action in the climate movement. I am a born and raised Minnesotan currently living in beautiful Oregon, where I am able to center myself surrounded by mountains, ferns, and banana slugs (all of my new favorite things!).

I have always been connected and felt called to nature, so being able to work with other activists and organizations to raise awareness and bring people into the climate movement is my whole life. I personally felt so much eco-anxiety at the start of my journey, which is why the main goal of this website is to help others find their footing and confidence to take action and spread awareness through lifestyle changes and getting involved.

One of the best parts about being involved in the climate movement is meeting so many amazing people from all over the world. If you are interested in connecting for a guest blog, to work on a project together, or simply just to chat about the environment, please reach out to me on my Contact page to get something scheduled!
